body building?

hey guys…this is my story…im turning 21 in des-08,and in my whole life i never got waight…im skinny as helll…im thinkin that the only way left for me is to start a body building,so do u guys recommend the home body building as in push-ups and the other stuff,or do you recommend go to a body building place? or do you think that they r both the same result at the end?…thank you for your time

    alright…here goes. i am 25 yrs old. i started working out at age 22. i weighed 145 lbs. during my program i jumped to 160 lbs. but that is beyond the point. that was just to give u an example. home or gym. gym..all the way. yes it has more machines for muscle groups…and…it has an atmosphere designed for exercise. unlike the home which is designed for comfort. if u began working out hardcore (heavy weights, and lots of protein), you will get ripped muscle definition because of ur skinny bodyframe. if ur looking to add weight and muscle, u need to visit a gnc or vitamin shop for a weight gainer. find one with any other protein but weigh protein. try soy, or lipotic. dont give up ur workout either. go to failure. if u get sore…then good…that means its working. when u go to the gym and see big dudes lifting heavy weight, dont get intimidated…get motivated because thats what u wanna do or better and bigger. dont push it though..its not worth getting injured over. injury means all uve done up to that point is gone. dont be scared to ask for advice or recieve it without asking. there is going to be criticism..but its helpful. good form and determination will prove good in the long run. eventually ull reach a dead stop in ur muscle gaining. that doesnt mean that u reached ur limit…it just means that ur body got to its first obstacle. see ur body has different levels. the first level is the quick phase where it packs on muscle and then reahces a wall. now u have to adapt and overcome. u will ahve to change ur routine and exercises. like instead of regular straitbar tricep push downs, ull have to move to skullcrushers to shock the muscle for example. if u dont know what a skullcrusher is now, ull find out when u join the gym. ull see someone lying on a bench pushing a curlbar up barely touching his head.it works like a charm. dude trust me if ur really looking into bodybuilding especially at age 21 ur looking in the right direction. just dont give up. if u need anything else just hit me up via email, or send me a question.

    ps: pushups and situps are still good for shape defining. ull only get so big if u do situps or pushups at home. good luck

    I don’t know what you mean by "body building"… but if your choosing between working out at home or at the gym, I would choose the gym. They have more machines there so you can work different muscle groups. Whereas at home you can do sit ups and push ups and not much else. It would be a good idea to get a friend or someone to go to the gym with you so you don’t have to workout alone and you can stay motivated. Good luck!
