@jessebackman99 Going lighter and easier is always a good idea when just beginning. I would stick with 8-10 reps until you’ve been lifting for at least a year.
JESSEBACKMAN99!!! i have been lifting for more than a year but il talking abs u feel like i get more out of doing it 10 tomes then i do say 4 times? bbut more heaveyer
I cannot do squats very well because I have a bad knee and cannot go full range. Do you think it is possible to build good legs by sticking to front squats, hack squats and leg press? These do not hurt my knee for some reason, but back squats kill them. I know a lot of people say you can’t build big legs without squats, but my knee can’t handle it.
Thanks
good day sir,ive been wondering if u dont change your workout but still add weight on each sets is it still going to make you big? because some people in the gym tell me that if you dont change ur workout every 3 months it will cause mucle familiarization, meaning it will not have an effect on your muscles anymore..

@BodyPerformanceTV thanks a lot sir, im from philippines by the way and im just 20 yrs old so i have a lot of questions in my mind. and based from the videos that you posted im learning so much from it. because if you ask some people in the gym they thought they know everything but as usual they cant prove it, its all crap..thank you again sir ill keep watching your videos so ill understand more about bodybuilding..good day..
I always get a good laugh when some newbie comes in the gym and asks for advice, but says “but I dont wanna get too big” hahaha. If only they knew..no1 came to look like Jay Cutler by accident..lmaoo
@taichicraig I think you misunderstood what he meant. He didn’t mean do 9-12 sets of each exercise but 9-12 sets for the total for the body part probably broken up into 3 or 4 different exercises. That is typically what I do.
@Pager1991 I would suggest using the smith machine if you have knee problems. I too have chronic knee pain and find that doing squats on the smith machine are significantly easier on the joints since you can really vary you foot positioning to find something more comfortable.

@dyerrrbaxxx69 That is not true. It’s lifting heavier weight that will make you bigger, not changing your workout.

did he say laterals? u cant use heavy weights for that… corect me if im wrong
@mariwanaman Do one arm laterals,…place one arm on a bench inclined to a military position and do them that way.
@mariwanaman Heavy is a relative term. I do one arm laterals with 60′s.
@BodyPerformanceTV 9-12 sets really?i thought 3-4 was good unless your doing german volume training etc.please enlighten me thanks!
@taichicraig The more in-shape you are the more stress you need to cause changes.
So lifting heavier weight n less reps will get me stronger than light weight n more reps?

i train hard , and lift big weights , but my body only gets ripped ? so do i need to eat more ?
@DaOsman1 A few extra calories a day will help put on some additional muscle and probably a bit of fat but that will give you mass.

@The52warriors You will need to lift AND diet. And maybe do cardio.
