i see this on here all the time that people think that if they gained 2 pounds in a week and they worked out or lifted weights or whatever and they have like a 1k calorie diet
that they gained muscle mass 99% of the answers would be
"well you gained muscle mass!"
either that or people think that when they workout they dont want to do it to their full potential cuz they dont want to get "to big" so they stick to bull shit routines that do nothing nd they do that
when it takes years of dedication to get to a pretty decent size
and girls with getting bulky and gaining like 20 or 30 pounds of muscle in a month or a year
it aint going to happen get over yourself
anyways
why do people think its so "easy"
hell yeah
i hate when people do that err like
my legs are to big from walking 10 minutes a day how do i reduce my leg size
they grew 6 inches in a week!

My 19 year old boyfriend of two years has always been a pretty slim guy. He’s 5′7" and weighs around 150lbs. He is by no means, not unhealthy-looking; it suits his body type just fine. But his problem is that he isn’t very muscular or strong. When he removes his shirt, he claims he looks like a 14 year old boy, meaning he has no pecs or abs. He isn’t the least bit chubby, so it should be fairly easy to gain muscle. However, he has no idea how to do it and doesn’t want to go to the gym because he’s embarrassed by how weak he is compared to other men. He would much rather work out at home. As a baby, he had muscle problems and needed steroid shots…could this be why he still can’t build muscle? Does he have a muscle problem? If he does, are there any SAFE vitamins that can help him build muscle? Are there any excersices that would help? ANY SUGGESTIONS? He really wishes he were stronger…he hates being so weak. Please help; I hate seeing him like this. Thanks

I’m 12 years old, 5 ft 6 in, and I weigh 231 pounds. Yes I know its a lot, but this is why I’m so desperate! Please don’t make fun of me! Anyway, I’ve been trying to lose weight, and so far this week I lost about 2-3 pounds. I heard that’s the average weight loss per week. My step dad said he’s gonna help me tomorrow by lifting weights. I was confused because I didn’t want to gain weight by building muscle, but to just lose fat. He said the more muscle, the easier you can lose weight in the long run. I also heard that I could lose an extra 50 calories a day for every pound of muscle. Anyway, should I use whey to help build muscle, or just "turn my fat into muscle". I also heard that while building muscle, you lose weight. Is this true? If so, how much? Thank you everyone who helps me with my problem!

Now i know that while losing weight you can build muscle, and same thing applies when building muscle sort of. Just curious cause i am about to start trying to lose weight, i am 208 and i should be atleast 190 (I’m 6′2 by the way) At the same time i want to tone up, but i don’t want that big bulky look where you have no definition. So, i thought i would lose the weight first and to tone after. Bah, i am sure i will hear do both at the same time which is probably what will happen, but i am still curious which is easier, building muscle or losing weight?
