At 15 it’s no recommended to work out. It’s been proven time and time again that you’re body isn’t meant to workout until atleast 18 years of age. You can actually end up with negative results in the long run. Look at gymnast who start at such a young age, notice how they sort of stop growing. That doesn’t matter though I know you’re going to work out anyways so to build muscle you need to eat a lot. Eat healthy high in protein foods like lean beef or fish. Also quit running! If you’re really trying to build muscle you should do as little cardio as possible. The reason for this is because you can’t build muscle without having any fat. If you burn off all the fat from the cardio then you wont be able to convert it into muscle. You’er going to want to do 4 sets of 8 reps max. You also want to use as much weight as you can. After you’re done working out your arms should be really hard to lift into the air, they should feel as if they weigh 100lbs. This is the best way to build muscle, but everyone is different. Don’t workout the same body part more then once a week unless it’s your abs. When you workout your muscles tear apart (this is where the soreness comes from). They need time to repair themselfs, when they repair themself they get a little bigger to prevent tearing again. This is how muscle mass is put on. Get a lot of rest too. Most people think that muscle mass is put on while lifting weights but in fact you build the muscle while resting after a workout. As for supplements I wouldn’t take much at your age, but whey protein won’t hurt you at all. Home this helps a little, like I said everyone is different find what works for you and use that method.
Why do you worry about your muscle mass? Unless your are entering some kind of competition or joining a sports team, simply eat healthy and be normal.
Keep doing what you’re doing.
Eat lots of carbs and drink lots of whey protein, Don’t stop eating. and make sure you work out LOTS!
go on to "bodybuilding dot com "
u cant predict when u will get muscle mass it all depends on what u do if u half way do the job it will take forever but if u really set ur mind to it and work at it u can achieve it faster but dont forget to eat ur bodyweight n protein and if u r trying to build muscle mass u cannot run like that cause it will cause u to lose weight which will lead to losing muscle do the cutting up and bulking up phases i put the website on here
for a good supplement i would recommend creatine but that is really more of a personal choice of ur own
and i would seriously recommend joining a gym so u will have more machines to workout with
running burns fat which is good, but burns muscle too, which is bad! if you’re only 15 trying to put on mass, you are going to need a mass gainer most likely. Go to your local GNC, or to their website and buy there mass gainer 2200. go through one jug a week (probably cost you about $30 a week) but you should put on 10lbs a week. those 10lbs will be muscle if you’re working out heavy and will protect you from muscle loss while running, if you are lazy and take all of it though, you will put on 10lbs of fat, so use it wisely. honestly push-ups, sit-ups, lunges are your best bets… for you shoulders bend over, grab your bar, and act like you’re rowing a boat, works very well, and the little muscles right above your shoulders, but below your neck, do shoulder shrugs for those. get the bar with the weight in your hands while standing straight and shrug your shoulders. thats the only way to work those. Stay VERY active, and EAT! eat 5 full meals a day, and try not to eat right before sleeping. Creatine will help a lot as well. and LOTS LOTS LOTS of water! on the flip side, make sure your stomach is empty when you exercise tho…it takes a while to learn how to balance these things…you can do it though. good luck and god bless.
at 15 you don’t want to pack on muscle too quickly. If you do you will get lots of cramping. However, to gain muscle mass you need to have a high protein intake. A shake formula like MuscleMilk is great. The best bet is to drink a shake before working out and a shake when you go to bed. The body builds muscle when you sleep, but only if you stressed those muscles that day. So only drink the shakes on days you work out, otherwise it will just store as fat. Another non steroid supplement to take is Endothil. Its completely legal, sold at GNC. Its non steroid and has no side effects other than tendon pain when you really crank out the weights, which would happen with or without the Endothil. It works by triggering muscle growth beyond what the body would make normally. But you have work specific muscles to exhaustion. There is alot of info out there about Endothil. Give it a google. But it most definately gives you noticeable mass increases.
The whole process in which muscle "builds" is the cycle of muscle cells grow tired during exercise/ get "damaged" (this is why some may feel really strong after they work out [lactic acid in you muscle, chemical reactions, etc] then you may feel weak again after about 15 minutes, then sore the next day) The good way the gain muscle mass is to exercise A LOT for in one day. Then rest for about 2- 3 day in order for the muscle cells to regrow. If you keep exercising A LOT everyday, your muscle cell will continue to be "damaged" and you muscle gain rate will decrease since your muscles cells don’t have enough time to recuperate. Eat well- protein, vegatables, fruits, dairy. Sleep Well. And remember to rest every 3 days after A LOT of exercise and you’ll gain muscle in no time!
P.S. I suggest that you buy a total GYM- return you weights and buy one
To put on muscle mass, you need to take your body weight and multiply it times 14.25. (I.E. 200 lbs X 14.25 = 2850 calories) This will give you the number of calories per day you need to eat to maintain your body weight. If you eat more than that number, you will eventually gain weight. Within those calories, you need to get in 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. (I. E. 200 lbs X 1 gram of protein = 200 grams of protein. ) Good protein sources are chicken breast, lean ground beef, egg whites, and protein powder. A supplement you may want to try is creatine. It can increase strength and size. Cut down on the cardio also. Good luck!
One thing that will help you lose weight: diet pills. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few. The best product I found on the market is made with pure hoodia and it works great! You can go to
http://www.newlproject.info and order you free trial, also you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
