Muscle building?

I asked a question about whey protein a while ago, and I got some responds like.. "Another fake question from a GNC salesman. EAT REAL FOOD" I want to take whey protein because I heard your muscles absorb the majority of it compared to "real food." Please prove me if I’m wrong.

Well anyways, I want to build some muscle. What kind of exercises do I do? Can I make a smoothie out of it? Is it better just to drink it with water? What makes people think that whey protein is fake? And do I lift weights? Do I do cardio?

Any advice, tips, and answers will be welcomed.
Also any brand recommendations.

k protein will help. but it is a supplement intended for use with real food. k now to building the muscle. try going 5 days a week, doing a differnt muscle group each time. shoulders mon, arms tues, legs wed, back thurs, and chest fri. do at least 5 exercises for each day and do low reps, high weight. try this for 10 weeks and take a week off. then resume the workout. do cardio on the weekends, this will trim the fat, allowing the muscle to be more noticable. the key to musclebuilding is you have to keep lifting. going once in awile wont do anything for you. it has to be a routine. good luck!

Whey protein DOES work and you should also eat "real food" iguess lol w.e that is but you also need to lift weights if you want to gain muscle. Benching will work your chest, bicep curling will world your bicpes. If you want to stay in shape as well you should do cardio. I belive benching is the best way to gain upper body muscle and squatiing is the best way to gain lower body muscile.
