Muscle building?

I have been trying to gain some muscle and burn fat… does anyone have any tips for doing so (weight training plans, diet plans, etc.)?

if you are a bit thin… try to lift heavier weights with fewer repetitions … like 6 – 8 reps… (but dont overexert yourself… avoid injury)

if you are a bit fat… go for the moderate weights with more reps… 12-15 …

alternate weight training and doing cardio…
you might also want to train your body parts in different days…
but if you are still a beginner … i still suggest an overall body workout in a single work out…

try also to limit the rest between the sets… learn to recognize that you want to push your body to its utmost capacity… so your longest rest would be after all the sets had been accomplished… and also… try to recognize if your body still needs to recuperate… dont overexhaust your body…
it needs time to regenerate the muscles…

with diet… just go for high protein … moderate carbs and fat…
if you can have a protein powder … to drink after the workout .. it would be good…

just continue with your workout… soon wonderful results will be seen

eat less exercise more. alternate cardio with weight lifting. join a gym with personal trainers. fat does not burn. you just stop storing it up as fast and the cells shrink. like the difference between grapes and raisins.

i agree with antknee on most things except the eating part, u need to eat to gain muscle, point blank, no ifs ands or buts about it. just a matter of what u eat
