for bulking, go on a protien rich diet, heavy weights and low reps. for toning/definition, protien/carb diet, light to medium weights and high reps. good luck.

You can save alot of money by simply eating alot of bread and a mild amount of meat.
Then for a drink you can buy pretty inexpensive protein mix to put into your water at your local drug store such as CVS.
the rest is up to you.

Protein shakes are great. I like the EAS products. I would recommend the whey protein vs. soy protein shakes.

Creatine is great for strength. I feel like I gain at least 5lbs whenever I cycle, although I also think it is mostly water weight.

I have tried NO explode with some mixed results. I would first recommed a protein shake immediately after you work out and then try cycling on creatine after a couple of months.

To be honest you really don't need supplements. They are pretty much all marketing hype. Good natural healthy unprocessed food is all you need combined with a smart training program. Great resource at this site...

there are a lot of good supplements to take while working out. (no explode, 1-AD, cell tech, creating) anything with a testosterone booster...take before workouts!

But the best thing to take is a protein drink after every work out ( take protein drink within 30 min after your work out)

you can take your supplements before and then take your protein drink after words.

i personally take No2 and Ce2 which is nitrogen oxide and creatine . These are pills you can buy at GNC and cost a lot but because they work. There are many other graet creatines out there, just ask the people at GNC and they'll tell you from their experience. Also take a multi vitamin such as "Animal Pack" its eleven pills but they contain all the important vitamins needed for body buildin and help absorb protein. Also get a Whey protein such as GNC 100% whey. Aside from supplements, food is the most important belive it or not, if you want to be cut and gain great amount of muscle then eat however much protein you weigh, example- Your weight= amount of protein to be eatin daily, such as egg whites, grilled chicken, cottage cheese, fish, tuna etc, also eat salads and nuts to get your healthy fattys, fruits too, its a challnge but it works if your committed
