saturated fat does not increase cholesterol levels. There is no evidence to support that theory. It does increase testosterone levels. However, you are right, fast food and junk food are unhealthy, but it’s not because of the saturated fat, it’s the trans fat.
There is no evidence to dis-prove that theory. So how can you say it doesn’t?
@jreily88 , ah i listened to this a few times and at no point does he say saturated fat raises cholesterol , he says “this kind of diet is loaded in fat ,very unhealthy, will raise your cholesterol levels and could put you in line for a heart attack”, so unless i am mistaken i dont see where you got that information from in this video

Hi! can you tell me if coffe is something to avoid in a diet?
@At3nT I know some guys who swear by a double espresso before a weight training session – and say it helps their workout – but I personally stay away from caffeine. Totally your choice.
@At3nT coffee/caffine can make you fuller and have energy for no calories (assuming its black) So yeah it can be good during a diet since you are going to be feeling tired and hungry due to lack of calories. But as for the long term other health effects it is really unknown. Most reasearch these days seems to suggest it is not that bad. But like the guy said it is up to you.
regarding the refined sugar… does fruit include too? like an apple, say if i snack an apple, it has fructose, which are simple carbs.
@ziegheil0264 – Excellent question. You’re right, fructose is definitely a ‘simple carb’. On the whole though, think of fruits and vegetables as healthy carbs that you can eat plenty of. When I mention refined sugar simple carbs, I’m mainly talking about manufactured foods that have had ‘sugar’ added too them in a factory. Also, stick to whole fruits instead of fruit juices. (The juices can be extremely high in sugars and cause your blood sugar levels to spike up). Thanks.

Hi @christianbaclao — Yeah, a raw food diet could work very well (provided you’re hitting your protein requirements, and getting all 8 essential amino acids in your diet — see my “Muscle Building Diet For Vegetarians” for more info if you don’t eat meat or fish). Cooking food can often kill off important nutrients and enzymes, so a raw food diet can be great in this respect (as I’m sure you’re well aware). thanks for your question.
hi there – excellent videos…a question – the eat every 3 rule….are you saying to eat a full meal, like a lunch every 3 hrs ? what would be a sample typical meal schedule in a day ?
@iamscythe Hi, and thanks for your question. The meals just need to be large enough to make sure you’re hitting your total daily calorie target to gain weight… and you’re typically going to want to include protein, complex carbs and some healthy fats with each. An example might include a couple of whole meal bread tuna sandwiches and a banana. Or another might look more like a regular meal as chicken, whole grain rice and vegetables. Thanks.
