weight training and diet managment.

well- diet management first, then weight training.

see- when you weight train or any form of resistance train, you have more control over what you tone or do than steady state running or eliptical or any form of steady state.

not only that- you focus on different variations that can focus on the muscle in different ways- also the eliptical or treadmill will leave you unbalanced-

meaning, if you are by some chance building easy there- then making the top part of your body look toned and fit will also make you look more evenly toned and not "muscluar".

women's bodies are generally not suited to "bulking" and unless you are operating on a caloric surplus, you will not build anything but lean muscle anyway- and lean muscle leads to greater burn of calories both after your workotu (which burns calories), during muscle repair and for every pound of lean muscle you put on-

and if you lift metabolically- ie: supersets (sets done back to back) or circuits- you are burning more calories during the workout and generating a greater excess post excercise oxygen consumption (you burn mroe calories and raise your metabolism).
