Which is the fastest way to build muscle?

Im an Ectomorph and bulding muscle isnt easy,ive done only push ups for a year and my arms are the same size BUT my arms went from flat looking too literally "pumped", they looked like fatty but i have abs so its not fat, whats the fastest way to build more more muscle doing only push ups and some dumbells, i have 1 20lbs dumbell (heavy for someone my age




Pushups is a great whole body workout but it won’t bulk you up. When you do push ups you are only doing your own body weight, so instead of bulking up, you are only making the muscle lean and more define instead of building it. You can build muscle by doing some weight push ups. Get somebody to lay the dumbell on your back between your shoulder blades and do push up that way. Usually people use the plates or sandbags but I don’t see no reason why the dumbell won’t work. That will help you build muscle because you are doing more than your own body weight.

thats because push ups arent good for muscle building, u need weights
but thats only half of it, u need to eat lots of protein rich foods as well
ur not gunna get a good work out from one dumbbell
eat a ton of protein, eat a lot period. Just make sure you’re working out and what you’re eating has good nutritional value.
Anyways, get on a multivitamin and 1 a day fish oil. helps a lot.
